My mom works at the library. That makes her a city employee. Because of this, we got a special sneak peek at the new museum for free before it opened. It was totally packed, but they had fun. Some of the exhibits weren't finished, so we didn't get to see everything. This is one of the earthquake tables.
This is a wind simulator. They like this one.
This is part of the water exhibits which weren't finished. It's probably a good thing, because it looked like you'd get totally soaked in there with all of the fun activities.
This boy is destined to be a plumber. None of his jeans stay up, no matter how tight I get them. He just needs some suspenders.
This is backstage in a costume area.
Tyler's working at the bank here.
They liked the bank a lot too. It had one of the vacuum tubes like the one's at the drive thru.
The other favorite thing was the trains. The kids could pedal and it moved a train up above them on a track. It had a camera on it so they could watch it on the screen in front of them.
In the building room, Tyler, Isaac and Gabe were more intent on "feeding the monster" than building with the giant blocks. I couldn't believe it.
